Smile before you leave

Why can’t I say I love you
At very awkward hours

I browse through reflections of you
I smile
I cry
Worry fills my other moments
Do I love me enough to love another
What does it look like
What does it feel like to love without fear
To love without doubt
To let go of insecurities that render one worth less
The voice of darkness has become reality and hope fades without chance

I’m not done but this it

As I seek a beautiful perspective that voids all else that doesn’t serve me

Before my back bends stiff
Before my site is shattered
Before my mouth moves not
Before my hands lose feelings of touch
Please allow my weist to bend my backbone on your body
Please allow my vision to marvel at your beauty
Please allow us to speak the same tongue
Please allow my prints to be documented on your contours

Let me hold on
Let me hold on to a very good memory
Just smile before you leave me
