Iintsikelelo zobu kumkani

A shell I have been freed from
Scales removed
And I land on such trusted hands
Of a God loving heart
A star just like me
A soul that I can relate to
A mind I can listen
A kind I can beckon
A reflection I resemble

A gentle reminder that
What is set In your path will find you
With your hands down
With one foot taking a step
A surrendered heart
With the will to transform

There I was
Seeking salvation
A companion to rescue me from festive loneliness
I had already surrendered counting cash access
It frightened me until it didn’t anymore
To be honest I felt paralyzed for a moment
But angels surround me
And somehow with grace
Fresh air is still free to breathe
So I took a deep breath
With no direction
But hope, that the journey continues

Here I am
Standing face to face with what seemed so far away
Drawn near, by circumstance
Perhaps also by the heart’s desire
Perhaps by God’s design
A divine destiny

Where is it leading
Who really knows what is in the future
Perhaps prophets and teachers
Perhaps they can bend the laws of physics
Tap into a mundane terrain
That leaves research and prospects
in unwavering wonder
Perhaps disbelief

But who can shape the pattern of the universe
A higher power
Constantly weaving
Continuously transforming
Where the blind can see
Where the lame walk and the mute talk
And God’s glory is upon us
Blessings Reign

It’s a reminder that I’m not alone, and that there’s beauty in the struggles we face. Please keep writing from the heart ♥
